The most wonderful Advent Calendar in the world...

I read in a magazine that there was a small craft market setting up in town outside Charly's Bakery on Saturday. This is a cake shop I love where they just happen to sell the most awesome cup cakes http://www.charlysbakery.co.za/ so the kids didn't need much persuading to go!!  We jumped in the car and went down to the square where we were met by cute little stalls set up selling beautiful local crafts. It's here that I stumbled across my amazing advent tree...

The labels come packed in a small brown box with instructions included in the form of a paper fortune teller (like the paper ones you made at school... )

These can be attached to the official tree sold at the stall or they can be put on your own twigs arranged in a vase or even a Christmas wreath....I went for the tree of course as I couldn't resist!!

Each tag has a cute sketched number on the front and a quote or saying hand written on the reverse.

We are only on day five and I have resisted a peek at the days ahead. I can't wait to see what message each day brings!

To discover these wonderful creations for yourself  take a little look at the JA! blog http://paperandthink.blogspot.com/

Simple things please simple minds I guess.....but in the most beautiful form!
